Betsy Lane was selected to kick off a weekly concert series called "Live After Lunch" at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee
Last month, Ryan Seacrest and Taylor Swift arrived in Nashville to cut the ribbon for his 10th Seacrest Studio at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. Ryan Seacrest Foundation's mission is to help sick and injured children heal by providing access to multimedia experiences that brings patients exciting, stimulating adventures which encourage optimistic thoughts during treatment. The Studio enables patients to explore the realm of music, media, and radio production from the safety of the hospital.
For the past two years, Lane has filled the halls of Vanderbilt Children's Hospital with her music through Musicians On Call; a program that brings live music to the bedsides of patients in health care facilities. Now through Seacrest Studios she's able to transform the lives of many more who are going through tough times. She states "It is a great honor to help Seacrest Studios kick off their 'Live After Lunch' concert series! I love being involved in such a wonderful, encouraging, and creative outlet for the children at Monroe Carrell Jr. Children's Hospital. It's incredible to see firsthand how music heals."
